La Primitiva is a lottery game based on predicting six numbers out of a possible 49. The game of La Primitiva goes back to the origins of Spanish lottery in 1763.
La Primitiva Rules
La Primitiva rules are very simple. The game consists of predicting six numbers from a table containing 49 squares, numbered 1 to 49.
Additionally, simple or multiple bets can be made. In a single 6 numbers must be predicted and you can play as many columns as you want. You can also make multiple bets using only the first of the expected columns, and mark it 7 or more numbers up to a maximum of 11.

- A multiple bet of 9 Primitiva numbers equals 84 bets
- A multiple bet of 10 Primitiva numbers equals 210 bets
- A multiple bet of 11 Primitiva numbers equals 462 bets
Apart from these bets, it’s also possible to play 5 numbers in an official ticket, this being a multiple bet in which the missing number is always automatically correct. In this case, it would be the equivalent of making 44 bets.
What is the refund number for La Primitiva?
La Primitiva refund is a number randomly assigned by the system at the time of validating the bet.
The prize consists of a fixed payment equivalent to the amount for a simple bet, for each and every one of the tickets containing that number that is extracted from a second drum containing balls numbered 0 to 9.

When the physical ticket is played and you wish to play also the Joker, you will simply need to check the corresponding box. The system will automatically and randomly assign La Primitiva ticket a combination of 7 digits ranging from 0.000.000 to 9.999.999, both inclusive. That number is unique, so more than one winner of the first category is not possible.
The draw of the Joker
The draw is made by extracting seven balls from a different drum to the one used for the primitive draw. That drum contains 10 balls numbered 0 to 9. After each extraction, the ball is reintroduced in the drum, meaning the same ball may come out on more than one occasion.
Joker Prizes
To obtain a prize, the numbers must coincide in the same order as those drawn in the draw.
